Amanda spent her early career in strategic communications and public affairs work. Once her three boys were stabilized at school and at home, she jumped to help her husband with his wealth management firm, Weston Banks Wealth Partners.
Early 1031 DST educators, Amanda and her husband worked together to expand the 1031 DST space within North Carolina and the Southeast. They watched – and learned from – the very first full-cycle DSTs after the 2008 economic crisis.
Today, due to the overwhelming volume of 1031 property sales in today’s marketplace, the DST demand has increased dramatically and so has the need for dedicated professionals in this space. Amanda established Crawford 1031 Advisors devoted exclusively to 1031 exchange investments.
Amanda is passionate about educating her clients, tax professionals, financial advisors, and the investment community at large about the benefits of securitized real estate investments and the value in preserving a generation of hard work for the next.
Amanda is an honors graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds FINRA series 22 and 63 licenses.
